About

Cano is a Seattle-based artist, Madrid born and trained. Her works are frequently on the margin of dreamlike, ghostly universes. She explores archetypes, formulas and techniques that bridge intuition with logic, reality with daydreaming, spirituality with sensuality. Cano's also a constructor with a love of tools, leading to a long series of small sculptures, hand-made boxes and artist's books.

Her most recent work is strongly inspired by women and their powerful journey of transformation in the present times.
